AC 310 - Auditing

3 credits This course provides a practical review of contemporary auditing procedures. Students will analyze the challenges of verification, valuation and presentation of financial information.  The legal context of the independent audit (including generally accepted auditing standards, audit reports, and professional code of conduct) and the operational audit are examined, with an understanding of the roles of the public accountant and the internal auditor. Prerequisites: AC 210 and AC 330.
