BI 205 - Cell and Molecular Biology

4 credits An advanced study of the structural and operational organization of eukaryotic cells, with emphasis on the molecular and genetic regulation of cellular activities, function of membranes and transport, cellular replication, cell differentiation, and apoptosis. The course includes a laboratory section that emphasizes the connection between modern biological theories and the experiments used to propose these theories.
