BA 330 - Fundamentals of Investment

3 credits This course will provide an overall understanding of financial investments. Students will learn about the role of financial markets and their relation to the overall economy and investing environment; understand the characteristics of common stocks, mutual funds, and fixed income vehicles and the relationship between risk and return; develop the ability to analyze and compare various investment choices; and learn the principles and practice of portfolio strategy and management. Prerequisite: EC 205 or EC 206.
