BA 327 - Global Business

F 3 credits Organizations increasingly operate in local, regional, national and global markets.  This course addresses issues of strategy, organization and management specific to organizations operating in the global market.  It provides an understanding of different political, economic and cultural environments in which global firms operate.  Students will learn about country analysis, strategic choices for operating globally, entry modes, organizational options, management of global human resources, global marketing and R & D, outsourcing models, and ethical and social issues affecting the global enterprise. Prerequisite: BA 211.
