BA 121 - Principles of Advertising

S 3 credits This course is a comprehensive survey of the advertising field, advertising strategy, and career opportunities. Marketing and media strategy is studied along with the criteria used in buying television, radio, newspaper, magazine, outdoor, transit, yellow pages, and direct mail advertising. Issues in multicultural, international, and Internet advertising are explored. Sales promotion and negotiation techniques are also covered.
