AR 112 - Two- and Three-Dimensional Design

F, S 3 credits This course is an introduction to the language of making art and design. In a series of studio projects students will explore the organization of the design elements and principles in both two and three dimensional space. Students will learn to use the elements of line, shape, form, value and texture along with the guiding principles of relationship, repetition, variation, symmetries, proportion and scale to successfully organize the visual space.
